Norma/ Farben Editorial signs contract with author

Costa Rica based Editorial Farben /Norma, a Latin American publishing house signed a contract with the author of the book Women, Metamorphosis of the Butterfly Effect

Alexander Obonaga Palau, General Manager of the Editorial House stated that it is was an honor for them to publish a feminist book that highlights women’s invisible contributions throughout history and form so many regional of the world “especially when those contributions have had to do with practically all disciplines, yet remain unknown.”

Suárez Toro explained that for her it has been a dream to be able to publish the book before it comes out on stage in Wings of the Butterfly “because the book expresses the complexity of context of those contributions as well as the issues involved.”

The publication in Spanish will be in the market in the middle of 2008. It is being edited by feminist writer Yadira Calvo and illustrated by a young Costa Rican artist, Carolina Parra.

The cover of the book is based in a painting by he author’s nephew, Jaime Suarez Berrocal in Puerto Rico designed by another nephew, Douglas Candelario.
